Depending on your book, you might notice that this chapter has one author or two authors - that's because we left off the name of one of the co-authors by accident. Is the WWW going away? It may sound crazy but browser use is down as more people access the internet via apps. This then has a tremendous impact on the kinds of information available to users. For example, a Google search for airplane crash would provide lots of results from many different outlets. But if people only use the CNN app then there is only one story. There is also the growth of the "Internet of Things," connected devices with specific uses for the Internet. In addition there is some talk to creating regionalized cloud networks that are not connected to the entirety of the Internet
